Sap is Running at LORDA

A relaxing and rewarding morning spent with Jim Crawford who is the curator of LORDAParks.  He and volunteers boil the sap up to temperature, test for the right percentage of sugar content, transfer to finisher and bottler, cap, lay bottles on there side for a good solid seal, label, box and price.  This is a labour intense project that LORDA volunteers dedicate their time to for the few weeks of window of time to get this wonderful Pictou County syrup.
