    The annual fishing derby hosted by the Blue Mountain & Disrtrict Volunteer Fire Department will be held June 1st. The day-long event will begin at 630 a.m. and concluded at 4 p.m. at the Government Wharf (beside Eden View Road) Eden Lake. This is a Nova Scotia Sport Fishing Weekend sanctioned event - fishing licence is not necessary but standard regulations apply. Great prizes, food and good fishing for everyone who participates.
