    The Hillside Community Society is hosting a fundraising flea market at the Trenton Rink Annex, Jan. 26 and 27, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, where they will have brand new décor for Valentine’s Day and Easter, among other items.

    A public meeting concerning traffic safety issues at the intersection of the Trenton Connector and Abercrombie Road will be held Tuesday, January 29th at 7 p.m. at the Abercrombie Fire Hall. Provincial and Municipal representatives are expected to be in attendance. Everyone is welcome.

  • Winter Wobble Snowshoe Walk

    The East River Valley Development Association will host its 7th Annual Winter Wobble Snowshoe Walk on Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell, Weather Permitting. Limited quantities of snow shoes will be available so participants should call ahead. After the walk, there will be a meal of homemade beans, wieners, rolls and hot chocolate. Advance registration is advised by contacting Donna at 902-759-1734 or email ervcda@live.ca This free event is hosted by the East River Valley Valley Community Development Association but donations are accepted.
